Following on from the success in re-establishing small businesses in Unawatuna, Majella decided to expand the project to incorporate the rejuvenation of small businesses in Galle as well. With the help of local man Mr. Khalid, Cork aid were able to funnel aid to businesses most in need.
A donation of €790 was granted to Mr T. A. Hisham for his textile shop. The same amount was also granted to Mr. Rashan to get his shoe shop up and running and Mr. Rifty to resetablish his watch repair workshop. A total of €1,580 was donated to cover the cost of smaller projects.
